Struan Nevin
Hey, I’m Struan and I have been coaching for the best part of 8 years in various gyms across Edinburgh, building my skills and knowledge in the health and fitness field. In that time frame I have earned his Level 3 PT certification, alongside my HND and Bsc in Health and fitness. My main passion lies in muscle development and bodybuilding. I also have experience in MMA.
My main focus with my coaching is ensuring every client I work with gets what they came for with their results, and above all else they have a laugh and good time in the friendly environment that I work in.
Ewelina Meechan
Hi, my name is Ewelina, I am a qualified personal Trainer and nutritionist. I have been living in Scotland for the past 12 years, where I have gained confidence, mental strength, overcame so many challenges and outgrew my shy,timid self. I have loved helping others through training and exercise, but also guiding them to a healthier and happier lifestyle.
Two big events that have shaped my life are becoming a mother to 3 amazing girls, one 4 year old and twins who are almost a year old. And for that, I will always honour my body.
My passion for health and fitness helped me motivate myself and understand the benefits of keeping fit and active throughout and after pregnancy, which has been the key for me personally. I am dedicated to helping others make positive lifestyle changes and to fully enjoy life. Since giving birth the first time, I have competed in 2 HYROX events which are a big passion of mine and pushed me to my limits. I have loved training hard for these events and I have since signed up for a half marathon, and another HYROX event My other passion is volleyball which I used to compete for many years , now occasionally you can see me on the sand playing beach volleyball around scotland. I am really Looking forward to meeting you all here at Platform.
Dan Grey
I have 4 years of coaching experience and have earned my level 3 PT certification, HNC in health, fitness, and exercise as well as Pre and Post Natal training certification. My main fitness passion is bodybuilding, and I’ve competed in a show, earning a 3rd place trophy. My main aim with coaching is to make sure you feel better walking out the door than when you walked in. Achieving the results you want and having a laugh along the way!
Jamie
Bringing over 3 years of personal training experience. I’ve got a background in Applied Sports Science and Sports Coaching & Development, studying previously at the university of Aberdeen.
I’ve worked with everyone from GPs and doctors to athletes, helping people get fitter, stronger and ready for anything-from fitness competitions to weddings 💍
Personally competed in hyrox and other endurance events. Big football man and proud Hibs supporter (ideal for a Leith-based gym 😉). When not coaching, you’ll find him travelling and chasing the next adventure.
